Danyang-Kunshan Grand Bridge is the longest bridge in the world. It is located in Qingdao City, east China's Shandong Province. This bridge has a length of 164,800 meters (102.4 miles) and a range of 260 meters. This includes 9 kilometers (5.6 miles) long across the top of the water in Suzhou Yangcheng Lake. Completed in 2010 and opened in 2011. Employing 10,000 people, construction took four years and cost approximately $ 8.5 billion. Danyang-Kunshan Grand Bridge currently holds the Guinness World Record for the longest bridge in the world in any category in June 2011.
